About Bohol
Bohol is a province of the Philippines, in the country’s Central Visayas region. It comprises Bohol Island and numerous smaller surrounding islands. Bohol is known for coral reefs and unusual geological formations, notably the Chocolate Hills. On the main island, near the town of Carmen, these 1,200 or so symmetrical mounds turn cocoa-brown in the dry season, contrasting with the surrounding jungle's greenery.
White sand beaches
Bohol's Panglao island has become a top beach destination in the country for its beautiful white-sand beaches, stunning coral reefs, and world-class diving spots for beach lovers. Its clean waters are also said to be “better than Boracay,” according to a government official.
Bohol Tarsiers
Bohol Tarsiers (Tarsius Syrichta) measures 4 to 5 inches and is considered as the world's smallest primate. Its size is no longer than an adult man's hand and weigh only about 113 to 142 grams or four to five ounces.
Loboc River famous?
This river in Bohol is known to be one of the cleanest rivers in the country. Tourists can get on board a floating restaurant for an hour-long cruise along the river enjoying food, drinks and novelty music played by local musicians while enjoying the view of the place.
